OUR APPROACH TO PRIVACY
Nippon Express Italia SpA (NXIT) has addressed the issue of privacy in a serious and professional manner, understanding that transparency and respect are fundamental elements in long-term relationships, and adopting every reasonable effort to protect the information provided to the company.
This “Privacy Policy” describes the different types of information we collect, the way we use it, the subjects with whom we share it and the rights that can be exercised by the interested party regarding the use of the information.
We also communicate the measures we take to protect the security of your information and how we can be contacted for further information in this regard.
We refer to Personal Data according to the definition adopted by the Guarantor Authority for the Protection of Personal Data with the transposition of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679, hereinafter also GDPR): any information that identifies personal data is or makes a natural person identifiable, directly or indirectly, by means of his name, an identification number, location data or various specific factors relating to his physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social appearance and which serve to identify his characteristics, habits, lifestyle, personal relationships, state of health, economic situation.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA
This document applies to personal data that NXIT, with the collaboration of all Italian branches subject to its control and coordination, collects and processes via this website.
We control the ways in which personal data is collected and the reasons why both this is done and we have appointed a "Data Processor" for each branch in which we operate.
Our website may contain links to other sites to ensure you have easy access to any additional information. These sites are independent from NXIT and may have their own privacy practices which we invite you to consult if you decide to visit these sites. All sites accessible via links available on our site are not owned or even controlled by NXIT, which cannot therefore be held responsible for the content of such sites and the procedures adopted regarding privacy.
HOW WE COLLECT AND USE YOUR INFORMATION
We collect some personal data that you provide directly when you use our site, use our services or contact us.

HOW WE USE THE COLLECTED INFORMATION
We will process the information provided to us in accordance with the GDPR, Legislative Decree 196/2003 and Legislative Decree 101/2018. We are committed to keeping information about you up to date and accurate and not keeping it for longer than necessary (maximum data retention period 2 years). We ensure that we retain information as required by law; by way of example, we cite the information necessary to fulfill tax obligations.
NXIT uses your personal data for the purpose of providing you with goods and services you request or to inform you about other products and services as specified below.
Website navigation. The data acquired by the systems responsible for the operation of our websites are collected for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the sites and to check their correct functioning. Fulfillment of your requests. When you use or query our websites or when you explore the features available on them, we may use the information you enter, including together with other information we have, both to provide you with the most appropriate responses and to fulfill your specific requests or searches.
Marketing activities. NXIT has solid legal bases for the processing of your personal data. The legal aspects under consideration that apply to individual cases depend on the specific reasons why NXIT processes your personal data.
Website navigation. The processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in guaranteeing high levels of functionality to visitors to its websites. Processing is necessary for websites to be navigable and provide the information the visitor is looking for.
Fulfillment of your requests. The processing is based on the need to perform a contract of which the interested party is a party or to adopt pre-contractual measures at the request of the interested party. The processing is necessary to respond to your requests and, in case of failure to provide the data, it will not be possible to proceed with the processing and consequently provide the requested service.
Marketing activities. The processing is based on the consent of the interested party and the legitimate interest of the owner. Employees and collaborators of NXIT, in their capacity as internal data controllers and/or system managers and/or administrators;
Service providers, third parties who provide part of our services and suppliers we use to carry out our sales activities and group companies who handle accounting transactions for you;
Marketing companies who will contact you directly on our behalf only if you have explicitly given your consent to such activity;
Auditors, public bodies and other entities where required by current legislation to protect our rights, including property rights, in relation to the possible sale of company assets.
Third parties with whom we may share your data are required to keep it securely and to use it only to perform the services we request on your behalf. They are always appointed with a formal deed and in some cases assume the role of Data Processor. In this case, when they no longer need your data to perform the requested services, they will destroy or return your data in their possession to us according to our procedures.
YOUR RIGHTS AND OPTIONS
In compliance with the applicable legislation on the matter, we inform you that it is your right:
Access your personal data processed by NXIT. This means that you will be able to obtain confirmation of the presence of data concerning you at Nippon Express Italia SpA, you will be able to access personal information concerning you, you will be able to receive information on your personal data and receive a copy of it;
Request changes, updates and cancellation of your personal data;
Object to the use of your personal data for analytics purposes, including commercial and marketing purposes;
Revoke in any way the consent given to us with future effect from the time of the request; access the text of the consent declaration at any time;
You also have the right to contact the Privacy Guarantor to assert the rights indicated above or lodge a complaint.
You can also express your wish not to use your data that we collect through automatic tools when you visit our websites. Your browser can be configured to warn you about cookies and, if necessary, block them. You may also update your preferences on the use of cookies on this site by accessing the appropriate setting functionality on the Cookie Policy page. NXIT does not knowingly collect personal information that could identify persons under the age of 14. If a child under the age of 14 has provided personal information to NXIT through our websites, a parent or guardian may contact us and request that the data be deleted. Once we receive such a request, we will make any reasonable efforts to delete information relating to the child from our records.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER
The management and storage of personal data will take place on servers located within the European Union of the Data Controller and/or third-party companies appointed and duly appointed as Data Processors. If NXIT, for the purposes described above, is forced to transfer your data outside the European Union, it guarantees to do so in compliance with the provisions of Chapter V of the GDPR and will inform you of the methods adopted.
