Nippon Express Italia SpA (NXIT) was established on 01.01.2020 through the merger by incorporation into Franco Vago SpA of the Italian companies of the Nippon Express Tokyo Group, namely: Franco Vago SpA, Traconf Srl, Fashion Logistics Srl, Moda Logistics Srl, Nippon Express Italy Srl; in other words, companies with both long tradition and consolidated experience in the international shipping, logistics and distribution business; tradition and experience that will make the new entity one of the main players in the sector, not only in Italy, but worldwide.

The company values remain unchanged: strong attention to the customer, to whom targeted and dedicated solutions are addressed; selected business partners; eyes always looking towards change and new technologies, especially in the communication and IT services fields; highly specialized personnel, constantly trained, thanks to which excellent performance and top quality standards are provided.

This is accompanied by an enlarged group structure, which is able to guarantee a wide range of services and a widespread presence both in Italy and abroad, together with greater reliability without however renouncing the adaptability and flexibility that have always distinguished the companies merged into the new entity.

Nippon Express Italia SpA is part of the Nippon Express Tokyo Group, which, through its European headquarters located in Germany, holds 100% of the share capital. NXIT has 12 branches in Italy with an autonomous operating structure, equipped with its own warehouses, able to guarantee a widespread presence on the territory; in addition, there are commercial offices, the Genoa Branch, dedicated to industrial projects, and more than 20 fully-equipped integrated logistics warehouses, capable to provide the widest range of services, from quality control to e-commerce and reverse logistics.

1500 employees

The company currently has over 1500 among direct and indirect employees in Italy; the 2021 financial statements, despite the difficulties related to the pandemic, closed with a significant positive balance of around 340 million euros in turnover, with a 50% increase over the previous year, while 2022 shows a balance of around 500 million of euros of turnover and the budget forecasts confirm an increasing trend also for the coming years.

Certifications

The company can list various certifications; among these, the following are to be mentioned: ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, all of these confirming the constant attention to environmental quality, health and safety issues; the GDP Pharma certification, concerning the good practices of distribution of the pharmaceutical product; the TAPA FSR certification, for the main sites. NXIT is Authorized Economic Operator (AEOF), ENAC Regulated Agent, member of IATA and FIATA, Fedespedi and Alsea.

Together with the Italian branches, the Nippon Express Italia SpA Group has its own offices in the main international markets, in particular Europe, the USA and China; this makes it possible to maintain direct control of the entire forwarding process and following logistic steps, guaranteeing, even outside national borders, the service levels required to be able to stand out in the variegated world of integrated logistics operators.

Where there are no directly controlled companies, NXIT can make use of the subsidiaries of the Parent Company, Nippon Tokyo, a capillary network of related companies that guarantee its presence in every corner of the globe.
